How to Configure Activity App on Apple Watch

Configure Activity App: Apple Watch includes many built-in apps, such as Clock, Contacts, Calendar, Friends, Activity, Mail, Maps and so on. The Apple Watch app on iPhone enables you to configure these apps to work with them the way you prefer.

How to Configure Activity App

The Activity app automatically tracks your progress toward three goals : Move, Exercise and Stand. Move measures movement toward a calorie goal. Exercise measures exercise toward a time goal. Stand encourages you to stand for at least one minute every hour over 12 hours. Users can choose whether to include Activity in Glances, whether to choose which reminders show, goal completions, achievements you receive. It also allows to control how frequently the user sees progress updates.

  • Press Home on iPhone to display the Home screen.
  • Tap Apple Watch on the Home screen.
  • Tap My Watch to view the My Watch screen.
  • Tap Activity to display the Activity screen.
  • Set the Show in Glances switch to On. Thus you’ll include Activity in Glances (usually it is helpful).
  • Set the Stand Reminders switch to On or Off, as you prefer.
  • Tap Progress Updates to display the Progress Updates screen.
  • Tap the frequency, such as None or Every 6 hours.
  • Tap Activity to display the Activity screen.
  • Set the Goal Completions switch, the Achievements switch, the Weekly Summary switch to On, if you like.
