Apple Watch Glances provide access to apps and display chunks of useful information. The Setting Glance shows Apple Watch status and enables you to turn on Now Playing Glance – for controlling playback, Do Not Disturb, Silent Mode, Airplane Mode, Heartbeat Glance, Battery Glance, and Glances from key apps such as Activity, Weather, Stocks, and Calendar.
Turning on Airplane Mode disconnects your Apple Watch from your iPhone. While on a flight, turn the cellular connection off on your iPhone, and leave Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on. This way, you can still use your Apple Watch with your iPhone.

A Few Apple Watch Tips
Taking a Screenshot: Both the Apple Watch (first series) and the Apple Watch Series 2 can take screenshots. To perform the operation, hold down the digital crown and the action button below it at the same time. When you take a screenshot, images are saved to your camera roll on your iPhone. If your Apple Watch has been upgraded to watchOS 3, however, this feature is not set as default. In this case, to enable screenshots, you should go to the Watch companion app and from there go to General. There you’ll be able to toggle Enable Screenshots on or off.
Change Text Size: If you find yourself constantly squinting at your wrist to read the Watch’s notifications, you can change the text size. Go to Settings > Brightness & text size then configure to what’s comfortable for you.
Ping your iPhone: Lose your iPhone? Good thing you have your Apple Watch on because it can help you find your handset. Swipe up to bring up the Control Center, look for the “Ping iPhone” button and tap to be reunited with your iPhone.
Use Picture Watch Faces: Apple Watch selects images from the Favorites folder on your iPhone by default. You can tag some images in iOS by using the heart button at the bottom. When you use the photo album watch face it will randomly select photos from the folder. You can also tap the face to cycle through images.
Reply to Emails from Your Wrist: Replying to emails was not possible from the Apple Watch first series., as it was restricted to just SMS messages in watchOS 1. Now, however you can easily respond to emails. You can use the pre-ordained responses if you wish, or tap the microphone to dictate replies with your voice.
Force Restart: Apple says to tale this action as a last resort, so if you’re left with no choice, hold the Digital Crown and side button together for 10 seconds. Just like restarting your iPhone, the Apple logo will pop up and your watch should restart.
