If you have a video card, install monitor cable into video card port. If you do not have a video card, install monitor cable into monitor port.<\/li>\n<li>Return the monitor to Apple.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>In 832 x 624 screen resolution, screen is off center, has no raster, flickers, or appears distorted:<\/em><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Some models don\u2019t support 832 x 624 screen resolution.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Select 800 x 600 or 640 x 480 screen resolution from the monitor control panel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><span id=\"Miscellanea\">Miscellanea<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">In November 1995, Apple introduced an upgrade program to update qualified monitors to the Revision B display that supported the 832 x 624 resolution.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">A tilt\/swivel base allowed the monitor to be positioned for optimal viewing comfort.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Apple\u2019s Multiple Scan series\u00a0were\u00a0shipped from March 1994 to January 1999,\u00a0and\u00a0provided a variety of entry-level to high-end displays.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">The monitors were compliant with the ENERGY STAR\u00a0program of the United States Environmental Protection Agency.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">After the introduction of the high-end AppleVision Displays in August 1995, the\u00a0Apple\u00a0Multiple Scan series was rebadged as an entry-level series,\u00a0and\u00a0used lower-end CRTs.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Repair issues: 832 x 624 resolution \u2013\u00a0on some Apple Multiple Scan 14 displays, when the 832 x 624 screen resolution was selected from the monitor control panel, the raster shifted to the right and could not be adjusted back to the center until the resolution was changed back to 640 x 480.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Apple Multiple Scan 14 Display model M3935LL\/A did not support the 832 x 624 screen resolution. It only supported 640 x 480 and, on some computers, 800 x 600. In November 1995, Apple introduced an upgrade program to update qualified monitors to the Revision B display that supported the 832 x 624 resolution.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">832 x 624 resolution was always shown as an option if the computer supported either 800 x 600 or 832 x 624 resolutions.
