However, you can really save power by turning it off. In this case Apple Watch will not monitor your wrist movements as closely.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\" style=\"text-align: justify\">To turn off Activate on Wrist Raise, click the <em>Digital Crown<\/em>. When the <em>Home screen<\/em> displays tap <em>Settings<\/em>. Next, tap<em> General<\/em>. Tap <em>Activate on<\/em> <em>Wrist Raise<\/em> and then set <em>Wrist Raise<\/em> switch to <em>Off<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\" style=\"text-align: justify\">Now, to turn the screen on, you&#8217;ll need to tap\u00a0 the watch face or click the <em>Digital Crown<\/em>. Not the best way to see your notifications, but it saves your battery if it is running low.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><span id=\"Avoid_Draining_of_Battery_Power\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Avoid Draining of Battery Power<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p lang=\"en-CA\" style=\"text-align: justify\">Apple Watch sometimes drains the battery on your paired iPhone, by communicating excessively with it. In this case, reset the Apple Watch. To do this: Press and hold the side button until the <em>Power<\/em> screen appears. Swipe the <em>Power Off<\/em> button to the right to turn off Apple Watch. Your watch will not be able to play bedtime music for you, nor it will wake you up in the morning, but you will certainly reduce the usage to a strict minimum.
