When <em>VoiceOver<\/em> is on, tap an item to select it. Double-tap an item to give its command.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">On the <em>VoiceOver<\/em> screen, set the <em>VoiceOver<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">When the <em>Screen Curtain<\/em> switch appears, set the <em>Screen Curtain<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em> to turn off the screen. You then need to navigate via <em>VoiceOver<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>VoiceOver<\/em> and an outline appears around the<em> VoiceOver<\/em> button.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Double-tap <em>VoiceOver<\/em>, and the <em>Accessibility<\/em> screen appears again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The following steps show VoiceOver turned off. If VoiceOver is turned on, tap and then double-tap instead of tapping once:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Zoom<\/em> to display the <em>Zoom<\/em> screen.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Set the <em>Zoom<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em>, if you want to enable zooming by double-tapping.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Zoom<\/em> and the <em>Accessibility<\/em> screen appears again.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Reduce Motion<\/em> to display the <em>Reduce Motion<\/em> screen.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Set the <em>Reduce Motion<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em> if you want to reduce animation.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Back<\/em> and the <em>Accessibility<\/em> screen appears again.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Drag up to scroll down.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Set the <em>On\/Off Labels<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em> if you prefer to see the <em>On\/Off<\/em> labels: a white <em>I<\/em> on the green side of an <em>On<\/em> switch and a black <em>O<\/em> on the gray side of an <em>Off<\/em> switch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><span id=\"How_to_Turn_Off_Screen_Curtain\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>How to Turn Off Screen Curtain<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">When you turn on <em>Screen Curtain<\/em>, Apple Watch turns off the screen. Thus nobody can see what you are doing, although anybody nearby can hear what VoiceOver says unless you are using headphones for audio output.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To turn off <em>Screen Curtain<\/em>, navigate blind via VoiceOver to the VoiceOver screen. Then set the <em>Screen Curtain<\/em> switch to Off. It is easier to go to the VoiceOver screen in the Apple Watch app on iPhone and set the <em>Screen Curtain<\/em> switch to Off from there.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><span id=\"How_to_Configure_Accessibility_Settings_Using_iPhone\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><strong>How to Configure Accessibility Settings Using iPhone<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">If you need to configure the full range of accessibility settings for your Apple Watch, you should work from the Accessibility screen in the Apple Watch app on iPhone. You can turn on the VoiceOver to make Apple Watch announced the name of screen items. This will enable you to navigate by hearing, adjust the VoiceOver speaking rate and volume, choose whether to speak hints. You may also turn on the Zoom feature to make the screen&#8217;s contest easier to see.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Press <em>Home<\/em> on iPhone to display the <em>Home<\/em> screen.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Apple Watch<\/em> to open <em>Apple Watch app<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>My Watch<\/em> to display the <em>My Watch<\/em> screen.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>General<\/em> to open the <em>General<\/em> screen.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Accessibility<\/em> to view the <em>Accessibility<\/em> screen.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">To use the<em> VoiceOver<\/em> feature, tap <em>VoiceOver<\/em> in order to open the VoiceOver screen.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Set the <em>VoiceOver<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em> to turn on\u00a0<i>VoiceOver<\/i>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Drag the <em>Speaking Rate<\/em> slider to set the speaking rate for\u00a0<i>VoiceOver<\/i>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Drag the <em>VoiceOver Volume<\/em> slider to set the volume.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Set the <em>Speak Hints<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em> if you want <em>VoiceOver<\/em> to speak hints.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">You can set the <em>Screen Curtain<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em> to have <em>VoiceOver<\/em> speak when you lift your wrist:\u00a0Set the <em>Speak on<\/em> <em>Wrist Raise<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em> to have <em>VoiceOver<\/em> speak when you raise your wrist.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Accessibility<\/em> to display the <em>Accessibility<\/em> screen again.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">To use the <em>Zoom<\/em> feature, tap <em>Zoom<\/em>, and the <em>Zoom<\/em> screen will appear.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Set the <em>Zoom<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Drag the <em>Maximum Zoom Level<\/em> slider to set the maximum zoom level.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Accessibility<\/em> again to display the<em> Accessibility<\/em> screen again.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Set the <em>Grayscale<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em> if you prefer to use grayscale instead of color.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">You can set the <em>Bold Text<\/em> switch to <em>On<\/em> to make <em>Apple Watch<\/em> display bold text. The <em>Apple Watch app<\/em> warns you that Apple Watch must restart to make this change. Tap continue to restart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>Note:<\/em> In the Accessibility settings, you can enable bold text to make text easier to read on-screen. You can turn on the <em>Reduce Motion<\/em> feature to reduce animations in the Apple Watch interface. You can turn on mono audi, which is useful for using earphones, or adjust the left-right balance for stereo audio.
