It also displays the caller&#8217;s name or phone number.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Accept<\/em> and iPhone connects the call.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">If you want to change the volume, tap <em>Quieter<\/em> or<em> Louder<\/em>, or turn the <em>Digital Crown<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">The call duration appears on the screen.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Mute<\/em> if you want to mute the call.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Unmute<\/em> when you need to unmute the call.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>End Call<\/em> to end the call. The <em>Call Ended<\/em> screen will appear for a moment and thenn the watch face will appear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span id=\"Declining_a_Call\">Declining a Call<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As in the previous case, Apple Watch will play the ringtone and display the caller&#8217;s name and phone number, when iPhone receives a call.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Decline<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Or double-click the <em>Digital Crown<\/em> to send the call to voicemail.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Apple Watch declines the call and the call goes to voicemail.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">The <em>Call Declined<\/em> screen appears for a moment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span id=\"Muting_a_Call\">Muting a Call<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">When Apple Watch starts ringing and displays the caller&#8217;s name or phone number, place your hand over the screen just for a second or two, and Apple Watch will mute the ringing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Now you can answer the call by tapping <em>Accept<\/em> or decline the call by tapping <em>Decline<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">You can also mute a call by placing Apple Watch against your clothing for a second or two, so the clothing fully covers the screen. Alternatively, you can place Apple Watch against your face briefly. Usually, people place the Apple Watch screen against their thigh to do this, but if you are flexible enough, you may be able to use your upper body instead. So you can mute a call using your free hand.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"How_to_Make_Call_with_Wi-Fi_Calling\">How to Make Call with Wi-Fi Calling<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">If you are in an area with little or no cellular coverage you can easily place a phone call if you have a Wi-Fi connection with <em>Wi-Fi Calling<\/em>\u00a0feature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To use Wi-Fi Calling, you need an iPhone 5c or later on a supported carrier. To place Wi-Fi calls from your iPhone:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Go to <em>Settings &gt; Phone &gt; Wi-Fi Calling and t<\/em>urn on<em> Wi-Fi calling<\/em>. You might need to enter or confirm your address for emergency services. If Wi-Fi Calling is available, you\u2019ll see Wi-Fi after your carrier name in the status bar. Now your calls will use Wi-Fi Calling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Note that when cellular service is available, your iPhone uses this service for emergency calls. On the contrary, when cellular service is not available emergency calls might use Wi-Fi calling. Your device&#8217;s location may be used to aid response efforts when you place an emergency call, regardless of whether you enable <em>Location Services<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>To make and receive Wi-Fi calls from another device: If your carrier supports Wi-Fi Calling on iCloud-connected devices, you can make and receive Wi-Fi calls on other devices. You can use Wi-Fi Calling on the following devices, even if your iPhone isn&#8217;t on the same Wi-Fi Network or turned on: iPad or iPod touch with iOS 9 or later; Apple Watch with watchOS 2 or later;\u00a0Mac (2012 or later model) with OS X El Capitan. However Wi-Fi Calling is not available on Mac Pro (Mid 2012).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Make sure that you&#8217;re signed in to iCloud and FaceTime with the same Apple ID that you use on your iPhone. Also make sure that your devices have the latest software.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To place a Wi-Fi call from your iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, or Mac, follow the following steps:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To call from your iPad, iPod touch, or Mac, if you haven&#8217;t added your device yet (this will allow to use Wi-Fi Calling -add it):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Open FaceTime.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap Audio.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Enter a contact or phone number and tap Wi-Fi call. You can also place a call by tapping a phone number in Contacts, Mail, Messages, Safari, and other apps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To call from your Apple Watch:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Open the Phone app.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Choose a contact.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap Wi-Fi call.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Select the phone number or FaceTime address that you want to call.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To add a device, make sure that the device you want to add has the latest version of software. Then follow the following steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">On your iPhone, go to <em>Settings &gt; Phone.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Once there turn on <em>Wi-Fi Calling<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Turn on <em>Calls on Other Devices<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap <em>Add Wi-Fi Calling For Other Device<\/em>s.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">On your other devices, sign in to iCloud and FaceTime with the same Apple ID and password that you use on your iPhone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To turn on Wi-Fi Calling:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">On your iPad or iPod touch, go to<em> Settings &gt; FaceTime &gt; Calls from iPhone<\/em> and tap <em>Upgrade to Wi-Fi Calling<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">On your Mac, open <em>FaceTime.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Next choose <em>FaceTime &gt; Preferences &gt; Settings.<\/em><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Select <em>Calls From iPhone &gt; Upgrade to Wi-Fi Calling<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">When a six-digit code appears, enter it on your iPhone and tap Allow.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">On Apple Watch, <em>Wi-Fi Calling<\/em> turns on when <em>Calls on Other Devices<\/em> is enabled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">If you can&#8217;t add a device, check the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On your iPhone, make sure that <em>Wi-Fi Calling<\/em> and <em>Allow Calls on Other Devices<\/em> are on, and that your device appears under <em>Allow Calls On<\/em>. Also make sure that you&#8217;re using the same Apple ID for FaceTime and iCloud on your iPhone and your other device.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">If you don&#8217;t want to use Wi-Fi Calling from one of your devices, you can remove it:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">On your iPhone, go to <em>Settings &gt; Phone &gt; Calls on Other device<\/em>s.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">In the list of devices, turn off <em>Wi-Fi Calling<\/em> for the device that you want to remove.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To turn off <em>Wi-Fi Calling<\/em> on your Apple Watch:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Go to the Watch App on your iPhone<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Tap Phone.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Now tap Wi-Fi Calls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">If you can&#8217;t turn on or use Wi-Fi Calling, make sure that your carrier offers Wi-Fi Calling and that your devices have the latest software. Then, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Important note: Wait two minutes before you go from one step to the next.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Go to <em>Settings &gt; Phone &gt; Wi-Fi Calling<\/em> and make sure that <em>Wi-Fi Calling<\/em> is on.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Restart your iPhone.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Connect to a different Wi-Fi network.
