To choose how your Watch notifies about an incoming message, open the <em>Apple Watch<\/em> app on your iPhone and navigate to <em>My Watch &gt; Messages<\/em>, then tap <em>Custom<\/em>. From<em> Custom<\/em> you will be able to choose to have your Watch tap your wrist or sound an alert every time you receive a new message. You can also set your Watch to only notify you when you receive a message from your contacts. It is also possible to show all alerts you receive instead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Once your messages are set, it is very simple to check them, as you can do it by raising your wrist every time you receive an alert. To reply to a new message you can scroll down using the <em>Digital Crown<\/em> and then tap <em>Reply<\/em>. You can also swipe down on the watch face to scroll through older message notifications, and dismiss them by swiping them away. If you swipe on a message to dismiss it, the message will be marked as <em>Read<\/em>. On the other hand, if you prefer to dismiss a message without marking it as <em>Read<\/em> just push down on your <em>Digital Crown<\/em>. To jump to the top of a message just tap the top of your display.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>How to View Photos on Your Apple Watch:<\/em> You can tap a photo to view it in the Messages app. To view a photo in a full screen, double-tap it. On the contrary, you can&#8217;t save the photo to your Apple Watch. If you want to save an image from a message you will have to do it on your iPhone. To return to the conversation after looking at a photo on you Watch swipe left on the photo to dismiss it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>How to View Videos on Your Apple Watch:<\/em> You can view videos on your Apple Watch by tapping the video to begin playback. Taping the video a second time will bring up the video controls. You can use the Digital Crown to adjust the volume.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>Audio Messages:<\/em> You can keep an audio message by tapping the <em>Keep<\/em> option below the clip, or by adjusting your settings so they do not expire. This is done the same way you would do it on your iPhone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Finally, keep in mind that there are three ways to open apps on your Apple Watch. You can tap the app icon when on the <em>Home<\/em> screen, use the <em>Digital Crown<\/em> to open whichever app appears in the center of your display, or double-click the <em>Digital Crown<\/em> to return to last app you opened. To exit an Apple Watch app tap the watch icon to return to the Home screen. You can also use the <em>Digital Crown<\/em> like the <em>Home button<\/em> on your iPhone to exit an app.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">You can move the Apple Watch icons around just like you would an iPhone app on your <em>Home<\/em> screen. Press and hold down on the app icon until it wiggles, then use your finger to drag the app to a new location. You can also rearrange your Watch apps from your iPhone by opening the Apple Watch app and navigating to <em>My Watch &gt; App Layout<\/em>. From there tap <em>Reset<\/em> to return your Apple Watch to its default layout, or use the wiggle technique to arrange your apps to your liking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">You can control the settings of an individual Apple Watch app from your iPhone. For example, the stop receiving notifications from an app, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and scroll down until you see the name of the app. Tap the name of the app and adjust its settings from there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">You can hide an app on your Apple Watch by holding it down until it wiggles and tapping the x.
