Besides, smart watches as such have been developed for one hand operation and voice control is by any rate the quickest way to get the job done.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Whenever you have to set a reminder, press and hold on the digital crown or say \u201cHey Siri\u201d into your Apple Watch\u2019s microphone. On doing that, add any reminder you see proper, for instance: \u201cRemind me to take my pill in the evening\u201d or \u201cAdd organic milk the groceries list, please\u201d. When done, tap a <em>Force Touch<\/em> and mark the <em>Reminder<\/em> as completed in the list that\u2019ll appear.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">If you want your reminder to appear at a specific time of a day, you can set a time in your reminder and it will show up as scheduled. To set a reminder some time beforehand might seem a good idea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Some time we have to create different lists of errands and reminders like \u201cOffice\u201d, \u201cFamily\u201d or \u201cThings I Hate to Do on X-mas\u201d and Siri on Apple Watch is smart enough to sort your reminders respectively when asked. For instance, \u201cRemind me on my family list to buy X-mas present for uncle Ollie on Saturday night at 5 a.m\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Reminders can be also location-based and connected to going in and out of a car or a gym. Like, \u201cRemember me to check the windows when locking up the car\u201d. This feature is available for iPhone and Macs only, because you need to tap a location in a drop-down menu, but Apple Watch can alert you to this <em>Reminder<\/em> as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">At time X, the Apple Watch will tap you lightly on the wrist and alert you of your reminder. No need to jump out of one\u2019s skin here, or give a start at a sharp beep or something. You can then snooze the reminder, check it out as completed, or dismiss the alert entirely (in case buying a present for uncle Ollie is no more a number one priority). Snooze, if picked, delays the warning for 15 more minutes. In a quarter of an hour you\u2019ll be alerted again and again until you tap the <em>Reminder<\/em> completed or dismissed. Whatever change you\u2019ve chosen to make, it will be automatically synchronized with other Apple devices. Thus, tapping <em>Dismiss<\/em>, you will erase the notification on your Apple Watch, but the alert will be still highlighted with a badge above the Reminders app icon on your iPhone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">So, the <em>Reminder<\/em> on Apple Watch is simply a lifesaver for busy and absent-minded persons. What if your reminders don\u2019t arrive to the smartwatch? There\u2019re two possible answers to that. Fist, check if your iPhone is locked. With your iPhone unlocked, reminders and notifications arrive to the smartphone. Second, switch the wrist detection feature in general settings of the <em>Apple Watch<\/em> App on your iPhone and wait to see.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">If your <em>Reminder<\/em> App fails to suggest you location-based options at setting up a reminder, follow further instructions:<\/p>\n<p>If you have not yet done so, update your iPhone and Apple Watch to the latest software<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On your iPhone go to <em>Settings &gt; Privacy &gt; Location Services<\/em> &#8211; check that <em>Location Services<\/em> is turned on (top setting);<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">In the list of applications, check that: <em>Maps<\/em> is set to <em>While Using<\/em>; <em>Reminders<\/em> is set to <em>Always<\/em>; <em>Siri &amp; Dictation<\/em> is set to <em>While Using<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">At the bottom of the screen, tap on System Services, then check that: <em>Location-Based Alerts<\/em> is turned on. <em>Motion Calibration &amp; Distance<\/em> is turned on; <em>Frequent Locations<\/em> is turned on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the best performance, you may also prefer to leave all other <em>System Services<\/em> turned on.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On your iPhone, go to: <em>Settings &gt; iCloud<\/em>\u00a0and turn <em>Reminders<\/em> on.<\/li>\n<li>On your iPhone go to <em>Settings &gt; General &gt; Background App<\/em> Refresh &#8211; check that: Background App Refresh is turned on (top setting); in the list of applications beneath, <em>Reminders<\/em> is turned on.<\/li>\n<li>On your iPhone, close and restart the <em>Reminders<\/em> app:<\/li>\n<li>Double-click the <em>Home button &gt; swipe left \/ right<\/em> to the <em>Reminders preview &gt; swipe up<\/em> on the preview to close it.<\/li>\n<li>Press the <em>Home<\/em> button &gt; allow a minute or so &gt; open th<em>e Reminders<\/em> app again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">It may then help to leave the app running permanently in the background (do not close it again via the preview).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">On your iPhone, go to: <em>Settings &gt; General &gt; Siri<\/em> &#8211; turn Siri off, pause for a few moments and then re-enable it.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Sometimes it helps to reset all of your location and privacy settings to the factory default.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">After the reset apps will stop using your location until you grant them permission (as and when you next use each app, including when you next set a location-based reminder).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">On your iPhone, go to: <em>Settings &gt; General &gt; Reset &gt;<\/em> tap on <em>Reset Location &amp; Privacy<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Restart both your iPhone and your watch.
