OnePlus 2 Smartphone
In OnePlus company released its OnePlus 2 phone. The company announced that it would use an invite system to handle sales of its new smartphone, exclusively through the company’s website. According to OnePlus, the invite system is very efficient. Indeed, within 72 hours of being launched, the OnePlus 2 had already accumulated over 1 million reservations. On 12 October 2015, OnePlus held its first open-sale for one hour to 32 countries via the company’s website.
The OnePlus 2 features a fresh design, which handset incorporates an aluminum-magnesium alloy chassis. User has the choice to customize back covers with choices of Kevlar or assorted wood offerings. The OnePlus 2 5.5″ LCD 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution bright screen. It has Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Its fingerprint sensor can serve as a home button. The phone looks solid and secure. Its power/lock key is located on the right below the volume rocker. It’s easy to locate and hit. On the opposite side there’s a novel sliding switch.
This slider enables you to quickly toggle your notifications between three states: off, priority only and all. Sometimes these notifications are especially useful.
OnePlus 2 has two versions. The White Basic version features 16 GB internal storage, and 3 GB LPDDR4 RAM. The Sandstone Black Premium version has 64 GB internal storage with 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM. The OnePlus 2 is Android 5.1 “Lollipop” based with OnePlus’ OxygenOS version 2.0 on top of it.
This smartphone has a low price for its features, but OnePlus has dubbed it the 2016 “Flagship Killer”. This is an audacious claim, because the device is not without its flaws. There’s no NFC, no microSD and no fast or wireless charging options. Besides, the battery cannot be removed. However, as we have just said, the price is low and many specs presented by OnePlus 2 are tempting.
