The latest Fold 2 runs on Qualcomm\u2019s latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chipset with 12GB of RAM and a range of storage options from 256GB to 1TB. Design wise, the new phone has an improved hinge mechanism. When folded, the Mix Fold 2 has a 6.56-inch OLED outer display with a long 21:9 aspect ratio, but unfolded it becomes an 8.02-inch LTPO 2.0 inner display. It is also worth noting that the screens are bigger than Samsung\u2019s 6.2-inch OLED outer display and 7.6-inch OLED inner display on the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The Xiaomi foldable is also incredibly thin at 5.4mm unfolded and 11.2mm folded. The glaring omission is that there no selfie camera in the inside main screen. The MIUI Fold is well designed with multi-tasking in mind to take advantage of the large screen. This allows quick ways to launch apps in small floating window mode without having to toggle endlessly between apps.<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned, the phone made its debut in China back in August with prices starting at $1300 (8,999 RMB) for the base model.
