How to Take an iPhone Screenshot<\/h2>\n

You can capture your iPhone \u2013 or iPad or iPod touch \u2013 screen content with just the touch of a button (well, two buttons actually). Taking a screenshot from your iPhone is really easy and you\u2019ll learn to do it in six easy steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Step 1 \u2013 This step is pretty obvious, as you can\u2019t do anything without it: turn on your iPhone! To do this, hold down the button on the top right of the phone and wait for the white Apple logo to appear.<\/li>\n
  2. Step 2 \u2013 Choose the image you want to capture. You can choose from your photos, email, home screen, online, text messages, etc.<\/li>\n
  3. Step 3 \u2013 Find the Sleep\/Wake<\/em> button on the top right of your phone. (It\u2019s the same button you use to turn your phone on and off.)<\/li>\n
  4. Step 4 \u2013 Find your Home<\/em> button \u2013 that round button centered on the bottom of your iPhone with a picture of a white square in the center.<\/li>\n
  5. Step 5 \u2013 Hold down the Sleep\/Wake<\/em> and Home<\/em> buttons at the same time for one second and release them. (actually, you don\u2019t have to release the buttons at the exact same time).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    That\u2019s it! If you did it properly, you will hear a camera shutter sound (the same camera sound that the camera app makes when you take a photo) and see the screen flash.<\/p>\n

    6. Step 6 \u2013 Now find your Camera Roll<\/em> by clicking on the \u201cPhotos\u201d application on your home screen. Then select \u201cCamera Roll,\u201d which should be listed as your first album. The screenshot should be the last image in this album.<\/p>\n

    If you can\u2019t see the screenshot, try to repeat the steps, but hold down the buttons for a second longer this time.<\/p>\n
