The founder of SpaceX plans to transport one million people to this planet in the next 25 years. Elon Musk, the multibillionaire entrepreneur and mind behind companies like SpaceX and Tesla, has approved the proposal to name the first city on Mars “Terminus”. The idea was suggested by a user on the social network X, and Musk responded favorably at the end of June with the message “This has my vote.”

Musk’s ambitious timeline faces many technical and logistical challenges. However, progress so far demonstrates significant advancements and generates enthusiasm in the space community.
While test flights have presented difficulties, each attempt provides valuable data and experience that brings SpaceX one step closer to its goal.
For its part, the name “Terminus” for the first city on Mars may not only symbolize the end of a long journey but also the beginning of a new era in humanity’s expansion beyond Earth.
