This device’s software experience, though unmistakably Android, has its challenges, with an often overwhelming user interface filled with perpetual setup screens and deep settings layers. However, the standout promise Google offers is seven years of software updates and support, surpassing even Apple in terms of device longevity.

While the Pixel 8 Pro may not be a contender seven years from its release date, its extended support ensures resale value. Users can confidently sell their device, knowing the next owner will still have years of support.
