Amazon Fire Tablet Review

Amazon Fire Tablet Review

Amazon Fire Tablet: The iPad, offered by Apple, is perhaps the best known tablet. Although many people covet the product, not everyone can afford it. However, there are other options for someone who wants a tablet, but has a more restricted budget. One such product is the Amazon Fire Tablet, sold by Amazon. For its price, it is an excellent electronic device.

Amazon Fire Tablet HD 6 technical details:

  • Released October 2014
  • Weight 290 g (10.23 oz)
  • Dimensions 169/103/10.7 mm (6.65/4.06/0.42 inches)
  • Available colors are: Black, White, Cobalt, Magenta, Citron
  • Android OS, v.4.4
  • 8/16 GB storage
  • 1 GB RAM

There are many reviews on the device, but all their opinions seem to contradict each other. Some say it is a great device, especially for its low price. Others warn that it is money thrown out the window because of serious issues. Ultimately, it is up to the user to decide. The downsides of the device; a low-resolution screen, a weak processor, poor camera and lag are the most often complained about features. However, other reviewers focus on the capacity of the gadget for reading books, watching videos and the ability to download content at a low price (for premium account holders) as undeniable qualities of the Amazon Fire Tablet.

Further on the positive side, it is impressively thin for a tablet and priced around $100. The operating system is user friendly and much of Amazon’s content can be easily and cheaply downloaded onto the Amazon Fire Tablet, especially for those holding a premium account, as mentioned above. The apps, video games, videos and other content come at very low-cost prices, because it is downloaded onto this specific electronic device. The Fire Tablet has many versions. Some of them come with a built-in card slot, which has the capability of increasing the storage capacity to 128 GB. All in all, our verdict is that it is a good device for the low cost.
