iPhone Demo Worked by Miracle
It was a miracle the original iPhone demo worked, when Steve Jobs presented the original iPhone at Macworld 2007 event. The fact is that the smartphone was still in prototype form, and could go offline any minute. It was a miracle that the demonstration went off without a hitch.

One Billion iPhones Sold
At the Keynote event on September 10, 2019, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook announced that more that two billion of iPhones have been sold worldwide between 2007 and September 2019, the day when iPhone 11 and 11 Pro were launched.

iPhone Patents
Did you know that since the first iPhone was released in 2007, Apple Inc. has patented or acquired more than 250 patents relating to its smartphone technology.

Plastic or Glass?
The iPhone prototype display was plastic, and a few devices were made out of this material. After the smartphone had been tested in real-world situations, Apple’s engineers opted for glass display.

The first iPhone was so revolutionary, that Time Magazine named it Invention of the Year in 2007. Since that Apple has revolutionarized its smartphones, which dominate the market today.

Do Not Talk about Project Purple!
When Apple began work on the iPhone, all the tasks were performed on a separate floor. Security measures were unprecedented, and employees could access the floor using special key cards. There was a poster on the door giving access to the premises. The poster literally said: “The first rule of Project Purple is you do not talk about Project Purple. The Second Rule of Project Purple is YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT PROJECT PURPLE.”

iPhone 4s

It was the first iPhone which was able to sort media library by genres, songs, artists, albums, videos, playlists, podcasts, audiobooks, compilations, authors. On the 4s, the volume can be changed with the included Apple Earphones. The Voice Control feature can be used to identify a track, play songs, create a Genius playlist and more. Headset controls can be used to pause, play, skip, and repeat tracks. The iPhone 4s was the first ever iPhone to include a camera with an accompanying flash, although cameras have been on Apple iPhones since their inception. Cameras have improved since from being a 2MP camera unable to zoom to a Full-HD video filming tool.

Flashing Alerts
The iPhone 5 was the first iPhone to use Flashing Alert. Sometimes you will need to put your iPhone 5 on silent mode or you will be in a loud environment, but you still want to know when a message comes in. In fact, there is not a notification light available on the iPhone 5, but you can set the LED flash to blink as an additional alert on your smartphone. For this, just go to Settings > General > Accessibility. Once there slide LED Flash for Alerts On. Now you will be able to see notifications.

iPad Model

iPad’s First Version
Apple made an early version of a tablet in 1993. That version was called the Newton MessagePad. It had similar functions to the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The Newtons were discontinued in 1998. Apple launched the first iPad table in January, 2010.

Quick Volume Mute
When the iPad was first launched, it had no mute button. Apple added the choice of using the lock switch to mute the sound with iOS 4.3. Since then users can also lock the iPad’s orientation. For quickly muting the device press and hold the Volume-Down button.
