Microsoft Surface 2 4G LTE (Nvidia Tegra 4, Early 2014)

Microsoft Surface 2 4G LTE (Nvidia Tegra 4, Early 2014) is the GSM version of the Microsoft Surface 2 (Nvidia Tegra 4, Late 2013), the cellular LTE module the only difference between them. The second tablet in the Surface line-up is a portable 2-in-1 computing device in a VaporMg seamless silver color casing with black bezel edges, a flip-out kickstand and a magnet lock for a detachable keyboard\cover. Windows Surface 2nd Gen LTE got a 50% brighter 1080p HD touch screen with lower reflectivity. The screen supports 10 touches but no handwriting. The tablet is slightly bigger but lighter than its’ predecessor. Microsoft Surface 2 4G LTE (Nvidia Tegra 4, Early 2014) features a 10.6-inch ClearType Full HD display, a 1.7 GHz Nvidia Tegra 4 (T114) processor, an ULP GeForce graphic processor with 72 graphic cores, 32GB \ 64GB of NAND storage aboard. The storage capacity can be expanded up to 200 GB with an SD card. Microsoft Surface 2 4G LTE (Nvidia Tegra 4, Early 2014) has an USB 3.0 with host support, 3.5 mm audio socket, 2 microphones, Dolby stereo speakers, micro HDMI, one HD webcam in the front and one in the rear. This is a GSM powered tablet that also has Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless connection. Microsoft Surface 2 4G LTE (Nvidia Tegra 4, Early 2014) is shipped without a keyboard\cover. Windows Surface 2nd Gen (late 2013) is the second tablet in the Surface line-up designed and manufactured by Microsoft. Surface Hub 84 Inch (Mid-2015)

Surface Hub 84 inch (Mid-2015) is the first interactive whiteboard designed and manufactured by Microsoft. It’s a high quality sensor display for viewing, modelling, drawing, handwriting either with a pen or a finger and videoconferencing. It doesn’t support TV screening. The matte LCD display sports 100-point multi-touch projective capacitance optically bonded sensor and 120 Hz refresh rate. It is flanked with two wide-angle HD cameras with a four-element microphone array each. The cameras are also equipped with infrared sensors and ambient light sensors to spot someone’s presence in the room. The light level in the room or data from infrared sensors prompts the hub to turn on or off. (more…)

Microsoft Surface Book (Intel Core i5, Late 2015) is the first 2-in-1 tablet-laptop designed and manufactured by Microsoft. It consists of a tablet or clipboard and detachable keyboard which can be locked in place on dynamic fulcrum hinge and open as a laptop cover. Surface Book is a Skylake powered hybrid either on i5 or i7 processor with an integrated GPU and an additional discrete graphic card in the keyboard casing. (more…)

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 (Intel Core i7, Mid 2014)

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 (Intel Core i7, Mid 2014) is the third iteration of the third gen hybrid tablets designed and manufactured by Microsoft. It’s a portable 2-in-1 computing device in a VaporMg seamless casing with bezel edges, a flip-out kickstand and the water cooling system. In the bottom there are a magnet lock and a pogo pin power connector to plug a detachable keyboard\cover\battery in. Windows Surface Pro 3rd Gen (mid 2014) touch screen supports 10 touches and the handwriting with a Bluetooth powered Wacom digital pen.

The tablet runs on top-class dual core Haswell processor with a trusted platform module. That means, the processor is capable of encrypting data, especially, personal data, providing a higher security level. Windows Surface Pro 3rd Gen (mid 2014) got a larger display with higher resolution and has three iterations, the Intel Core i5 one being the mid-class model. Windows Surface Pro 3rd Gen (mid 2014) features a 12-inch ClearType Full HD display, a 1.5 GHz Intel Core i7-4650U processor, an Intel HD Graphics 5000 graphic processor, 64 GB \ 128 GB \ 256 \ 512 GB solid state drive aboard.
