Cat S40 Phone
The Cat S40 Phone is a Cat Phones smartphone with a 4.7-inch, qHD display. It is drop-proof to 1.8 meters (5.9 feet), and water and dust-proof. Its size and weight allow it to easily fit into your pocket.
The “drop-proof” function is assured by the fact that its entire top and bottom edge of the phone are protected by a thick layer of hard rubber covering a metal frame. The phone also has angled corners. The headphone jack is hidden under a black rubber cover on the top right.
The Cat S40 phone has three buttons below its bright display. These buttons are the home, task manager, and back options. The left side holds the microUSB port, positioned below a watertight door, and a yellow button. The right side has the power and volume buttons. The microSD card and dual SIM card slots are positioned below the metal cover. The back is covered in rubber material with ridges that help keep the phone from slipping off surfaces. The camera is positioned up at the very top with a single LED flash next to it.
The Cat S40 phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 1.1 GHz quad-core processor. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, has 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage with a microSD expansion card slot. It has a 3000 mAh battery, 82.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and FM radio. The phone has a back 8 megapixel camera, and 2 megapixel front facing camera.
This rugged smartphone is resistant to high temperatures and humidity, and has thermal shock protection. It’s also certified to be resistant to salt mist.
There are a few non-Google apps installed, including a Cat Phones application store front. This phone is a GSM SIM-unlocked device. There is about 10GB of internal space available. However, a microSD card can also be used to add storage capacity.
