The special 30th-anniversary update for PlayStation, available from December 2nd, offers PS5 owners the ability to customize their console with themes inspired by past generations of the brand.

The package includes five different themes: four based on the interfaces of the PSX, PS2, PS3, and PS4 consoles, and one additional theme dedicated exclusively to the PlayStation brand. An interesting aspect is how the PSX is honored, which did not have a graphical interface as such. Instead, the development team opted to use a representation of the original console chassis. However, there is an important detail: this customization option will be available for a limited time only, although Sony has not confirmed until when.
