It features the 8th Gen of Intel Core i7 and a spectacular SSD storage up to 1 TB. The Surface Book 2 (15-inch, Late 2017) has three iterations. They are powered with the 8th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU and an Intel UHD Graphics 620 integrated GPU or a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 2GB of RAM. The RAM volume range between 8 and 16 GB.

The Microsoft Surface Book 2 (15-inch, Late 2017) highlight is the detachable PixelSense display on proprietary Fulcrum Hinge. The display supports Surface Pen and Surface Dial, but they don’t come from the box. The wireless includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and Xbox Wireless built-in but no GSM or LTE. The ports include two USB 3.0 Type A, a USB Type-C, a UHS-II SDXC card reader, a 3.5mm headphone jack, two proprietary Surface Connect ports.
