The Apple TV 4th generation was the first major update to the platform since the release of the 2nd generation Apple TV in September 2010. This model looks externally similar to the previous models, however, it runs on tvOS which is based on the iOS. It has its own third-party app library for a wide variety of native apps and games, rather than just a small number of pre-installed channels like earlier Apple TV devices. (more…)
The iPhone 6 Plus is a new model of Apple’s smartphone introduced alongside the iPhone 6. While being very similar to the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 plus is presented with a bigger display and, for instance, a higher capacity battery, which was made possible due to the additional space in the phone. The iPod touch 6th gen has gained a new dual-core chip Apple A8 with a 64-bit architecture, 1GB of RAM and the largest capacity any iPod has ever had – 128 GB of flash memory for the top model of the line. The iPod touch 4th gen is also available in capacities of 16, 32 and 64 Gb. The wireless communication includes Bluetooth 4.1, and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac. With all this top hardware aboard, the iPod touch 4th gen is more than a player, it’s a pocket entertainment center with videos playback, games, web-surfing and video calls. The Retina screen with a 1136 x 640 resolution (326 ppi) goes a long way toward it, as do an 8-megapixel rear “iSight” camera with LED flash capable of recording 1080p video and a front-facing 1.2 megapixel “FaceTime HD” 720p camera. The iPod touch 4th gen has an aluminum case and is being offered in six colors: dark “space gray” with a black glass front, gold, silver, hot pink, blue, and red with a white glass front. The iPhone 6 is the successor to Apple’s previous smartphone models the iPhone 5c and the iPhone 5s. The new model, which included numerous changes, set several sales records and was extremely successful with the customers. The new generation of Apple’s famous smartphone was also offered in a “Plus” version with a 5.5” display. (more…)
Apple iPad mini 4 computer tablet was casually described by Apple as a little iPad Air 2, as its pack is similar, though their internal components are something different. The iPad mini 4 is the first major redesign of the iPad mini line, with a slightly taller and wider body compared to the iPad mini 2 and mini 3. The iPad mini 4 features the Apple A8 and the Apple M8 motion co-processor. Two iPad mini 4 models were designed by Apple: the Wi-Fi only model and a cellular-equipped model. According to Apple, itw CPU is 1.3 times faster, and its graphics performance is 1.6 times faster than those of the mini 2. Their other specifications, not related to this details, are identical.
Though similar to the iPod classic 5th Enhanced in design, the new iPod classic 6th Gen has a thinner case. Aluminum fronts and a chromed stainless steel back replaced the polycarbonate fronts on the previous models. iPod features the much improved battery life (30 hours of music and 5 hours of video for the 80 GB model and 40 hours of music and 7 hours of video for the 160 GB model). The software was also greatly improved having adopted much from the iPhone OS X, the Cover Flow feature for selecting albums included. The interface enhancements were inspired by “MacOS X Leopard”. For gamers, iPhone 6th included three games in a bundle: iQuiz, Vortex, and Klondike. (more…)
