MacBook 9,1

On April 19, 2016, Apple updated the Retina MacBook 8,1 model installing the new sixth-generation Intel Core M processors, Intel HD 515 graphics, faster RAM, longer battery life, faster storage and a new rose gold finish. The MacBook 9,1 Retina (Early-2016) 9,1 is similar in appearance to the MacBook Air, but is thinner and lighter. The computer offers a high-resolution Retina Display, a Force Touch trackpad, a redesigned keyboard, and only two ports: a headphone jack and a USB 3.1 Type-C port for charging, data transfer and video output. In the line of MacBook machines the model sits below the MacBook Pro in terms of average specifications.

On October 27, 2016, Apple introduced the thinnest and lightest MacBook Pro 13,2 (13-Inch, Late/Touch Bar 2016) ever, along with a new interface. Instead of the traditional row of function keys, the new device is equipped with a Retina-quality Multi-Touch display called the Touch Bar. New MacBook Pro is also the most powerful MacBook Pro ever. Indeed, it features sixth-generation quad-core and dual-core processors, up to 2.3 times the graphics performance over the previous generation. Swift Playgrounds Now Available on the App Store

On September 13, 2016, Apple announced that Swift Playgrounds, an innovative new iPad app from Apple that makes learning to code easy and fun for everyone, was available on the App Store. In its press-release, Apple underlined that with Swift Playgrounds, real coding concepts were brought to life with an interactive interface that allowed students and beginners to explore working with Swift, the easy-to-learn programming language from Apple used by professional developers to create world-class apps. FBI and Apple: “Bumpy Road” to Success

FBI and Apple clash over unlocking the iPhone 5c belonging to the San Bernardino shooter went in headlines earlier this year. Apple refused to unlock the phone, while FBI declared, it is technically impossible. But Cambridge Professor Sergei Skorobogatov, graduate of MIFI, Moscow, Russia, brilliantly solved the problem.
